My first impression was: ‘Wow this is a lot of work!’ You have worked so consistently to produce such an awesome show. Each piece, at first glance, was delightfully expansive, as if I was sitting on a rock ledge looking out over a magnificent vista. When I see how you represent the great outdoors in the way you do, when I feel envy of not being right there on that rock, I know I like the work.  I love how you do what you do.  Second best to being there, is viewing your interpretation. The formations of your rock cliffs, the depth of clouds across the plains, the views of looking down into a canyon or across a range of hills and even the local cacti in their blues and greens, illustrated a studied comprehension and eye for detail in how land forms and skies illuminate and local fauna spread their arms. Wow!  

Most of all, your paint brush strokes and value of depth and perspective, show the sheer love you have for painting!  It shows in everything you do. Thank you for allowing me to see such an astute accomplishment in your body of work. Congratulations!
